Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's minutes before midnite my time.. The Moon entered Virgo 6 hours ago. (btw.. Yes.. I'm a Virgo)

Last month.. While the Moon was between, and so close to both, Jupiter and Uranus.. I submitted an application to dA to start a new group.

A few hours later.. Pretty damn close to the exact moment when Mercury, Mars, and Pluto conjoined on the 4° 41' of the sign Capricorn.. I got a message back from dA saying my request had been approved!

So.. I set out to take a wish.. a thought.. And turn it into a physical thing.

May I say I name this process "Art"?

And as for my wish?

I wanted a group here on dA unlike the other group to which I belong!

First.. I wanted the group to have bazillion different galleries.. Each would have it's own flavor.. Each gallery would be easily accessible from the home page of the group.. Each gallery would have a few item from many different artists.. Each gallery would give me a feeling like I just stepped into a real life art gallery in some romantic locations.. Like.. The French Quarter in New Orleans.. Or somewhere near the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

One more thing.. MOST IMPORTANT thing!!! I wanted the items on display in these galleries to be of the sort that.. You know.. For that split hair second moment.. When I look at the deviation on display.. I feel energy ignite in all 7 of my Chakras [link]

I was not interested in displaying those deviations that only ignited my first Chakra (This Chakra is located somehow in and around the area of our bodies which.. Physically.. We think of/refer to as our.. "arse").. I wanted the stuff on display to move me way beyond my second Chakra (Sexual organ area).. I wanted to feature stuff that at least gets the fourth Chakra happening! (heart area).. But what I really hunt to find.. What I really really want to feature..

I wanted to display those deviations that.. You know!.. For but that fleeting moment.. I feel energy shooting from my seventh Chakra above my head (In our current level of evolution.. We have yet to develop a physical/biological region that associates w/ our seventh Chakra)

With this group which I was dreaming about..

I wanted to say "Thank You" to the dA deviants who have been entertaining me for years!

btw.. In the middle of 2007.. In those days when all I knew about were websites such as MySpace.. Flicker.. PhotoBucket.. Well.. In those days I came across this image..

Wow! I loved that one! That is the deviation which introduced me to dA.. And I've been having TONS of fun ever since.

And as for the Group..

I asked a zillion deviants if I could display their stuff.. Many said ok!

And I started constructing my dream..

Well.. That Mercury, Mars, and Pluto thing really kicked in!

Not only has this group collected wonderful images and gained very impressive members.. We have hopefully gained the respect of other established groups. To name just one in which I am very happy to have an affiliation..

However.. This weekend.. I now have to do something that's making me sad!

This group has grown so large that I think it's time we should feature ONLY the artwork of our members. Therefore I have to start dumping wonderful stuff which we've collected. (I hope that made sense?.. And that thought makes me wonder if anything I have written up to this bit has made any sense? hehe)

Anyway.. We now have many members.. And we are collecting many deviation.. The artwork of the members of this group is getting "lost in the sauce". So.. It's time for the galleries w/in the HYC group to only showcase our Member's stuff!

With this installment of proceedures.. I have to say goodbye to many deviations which we've collected. And I'm feeling a bit sad over this right now.

Wait a minute.. Wait a minute.. I just had an idea!.. I bet no one would mind if I made one gallery in our group for things we've collected that has came to us from non members!?!?

I'll name this one "All Deviants Featured" [link] Maybe I could say something like.. I want to thank the deviants who chose not to join this group for their own reasons.. but their deviations which are on display in this gallery made this group a thing!

You know, I'm not joining any groups anymore and I've deleted my membership in the two groups I was a part of. So I'm now group-free and would be perfectly happy if you were to delete any and all of my images you might be displaying here Tim. This whole members only thing isn't my style and doesn't feel like an appropriate environment for my imagery. You asked to include a lot of my images at first and then suddenly they're no longer welcome here because I'm not a member???
